UNITED SUPPORT FOR PEACE NGO COMMITS TO THE FIGHT AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE (RAPE).

The crime of rape, is one of the most heinous of all crimes. It's a crime that communities, local, national and international must condemn and fight in a most concerted fashion. And as bad as rape is, in terms of the total violation of the rights of the victims with physical, psychological and other consequences, it has also become a weapon of war in many conflicts around the world.
In a resolution adopted in 2008 the UN Security Council affirmed that “rape and other forms of sexual violence can constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity or a constitutive act with respect to genocide.” It's in this light that the United Support for Peace (USP), a United States based humanitarian NGO, is partnering with relevant UN Agencies and other international stakeholders to help combat this evil.
In it's efforts to fight this scourge therefore, especially in view of the ongoing war of genocide being waged by the Republic of Cameroun on the peace loving people of the Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) where acts of rape have been frequent and reported by HRW, USP has launched a US based Hotline number to handle complaints about cases and incidents of rape not only in the Southern Cameroons, but all over the world.
As an incentive and encouragement for people to report cases of rape, leading to investigation, arrests and prosecution of the perpetrators, USP will be rewarding whistle blowers the amounts of $100 (50FCFA) for any report or lead that results in prosecution and conviction of perpetrators.
Victims and witnesses are already encouraged to contact USP via email where they can equally attach pictures, audios and videos anonymously if they so chose. This is a dedicated and secure email address as well, that information about incidents of rape and abuse can also be forwarded.
The Telephone Hotline *(1-301-708-3125)* as well as the email account *(report-abuse@usp-america.org)* are both dedicated to receiving and responding to calls and messages 7 days a week, 24/7, 365 days a year, including holidays.
